Went to Dacus and fished. Didn't do any good but the lake looked great. It opens in March and closes in November for ducks.I took a few pics. Only saw 3 Asian carp and I was running wide open!I'm not sure how to get the pics from my album in my profile to this box.Name: Dacus Lake- 3-7-2012 001.jpg

Size: 51.5 KB I talked to a young fellow, must have been the son of whoever owns Dacus and Mound City. He said a dude caught 25 nice ones yesterday and that same guy was back today but he left before 12.I didn't catch a single fish and I tried everything I could think of.It cost $5 to fish and there is a honor box. They repaired the road all the way from the bridge to the lake.I haven't been to Dacus since I moved to Ms. over 10 Yrs. ago.I'm going back. I was reading water temps at 57.1 to 59 back in Mosquito. The young guy said Woppernockers was open but was only about 5 ft deep now. They only filled it back about half way mainly for duck habitat.
