    Recovery nurse just called. Said he is in quite a bit of pain, and while the surgery took longer than expected, he did just fine. I'll update again as soon as I know more.

    Glad the surgery went well. I'd be in pain too, if I'd been opened up and my innards rearranged. Praying for a fast recovery.

    Poke him in the ribs and let me know if it hurts him a whole bunch. If so, don't do it but twice more.

    Glad it all went well. He's gonnabe sore for a while. I had mine taken out in an emergency when I was 21. And that recovery hurt like the dickens for a full 2 weeks. He ain't no 21 year old. I'm just saying.
