If ya'll think it is no big deal to change the weigh in time the morning of the tournament, then I'll go along to get along. But I thought it was pretty unfair at Sardis last year that because I chose to fish the East end of the lake I had to stop fishing 30 minutes early. ES also thinks it sucks he had to miss the weigh in because he fished by himself. I you want to weigh in at two then why don't we stop fishing at one.
As far as why bring up last year? The weigh in rules are the same.
And I should be able to voice my concerns without being accused of stirring the pot. ES makes a comment and gets ignored. I make one and get accused of starting trouble.

I'm not trying to stir up trouble, so let me clarify. I understand that as long as anyone shows up by 3:00, they will not be disqualified and they will get to weigh, but they will also have missed most of the others weighing in. Rather than saying the weighing MIGHT start at 2:00, 2:05, 2:13, or whenever, why not have a START weigh-in time of 2:30 but not disqualified until 3:00? That gives everybody a true target time so that everyone can gather and check out the competition

Should be able to make the rest of them without a prob, the FJ dates were set and they came up with this a couple of weeks ago. We will be squirell hunting and hardwoods are getting hard to come by and they always use our property each year, hate to tell em no, it's a good cause.

The weigh-in will begin as soon after the stop fishing time as the Weighmaster and Tournament Director are ready and continue until 3:00. Why is this difficult to understand??

I honestly don't remember the time changes at Sardis last year. I'm not saying it didn't happen, I just don't remember it. I don't know the reason for it. I'm sure if it happened, they had their reasons. That being said, there is a totally new committee this year. The rules are set to be fair for everyone. You cant please everyone. You cant move forward if you live in the past. Yikess and I have trailered to other ramps at other tournaments and have stopped fishing a half hour early to make it back to weigh in on time.
If it makes you feel better, ES is a GEWBER!!!

Boy, I sure am 'Holic is not on anymore. He would straighten y'all out. But for the record, weigh-in was at 2:30 last year.
