feelay, back in the day i did that and had excellent results. you'll get lots of ways to "install" the transducer. all i did was pour some water in the bilge and move the "puck" around while i was out in a lake in deeper water. when the reading was good that was where i left it. i could see fish running nearly 50 mph. i'm sure some will tell you to build a dam and glue the puck to the boat. i saw no need for that. all you need to do is experiment and if you feel you need or have to glue the puck in place you can.

I sure hope they work... Would love to remove one on back of boat... Everytime you slide off a stump your heart skips a beat

Do they make them? I've seen through the hull mounts but not shoot through the hull. Would be nice.

Y'all is confused. That's not a shoot thru, that's a thru hull. As in drill a hole and install. I'm crazy enough to drill a boat, but not ignernt enough to drill through the bottom of one.

Wannbe is correct. Here is a picture of a install. I do not think I could do it.
