    Congrat on the first boat. It's a proud feeling until you dump it on the ramp.

    I too use hi-teks and really like them. They remove with loosening one bolt. Can't compare or vouch for any other brands since I really haven't used them

    mACPAPPY, WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF BOAT OWNERSHIP!I know you must feel real proud! Good luck to you!Take good care of that trailer it's on especially them wheel bearings!Just a piece of fishing line wrapped around an axle can eat up a rear seal and let all that bearing grease leak out.I check them and tire pressure on every trip. Spare tire included!Boat won't do you no good if you can't get it there!

    Thanks for all the replys. i will be contacting a couple of you to look at rod holders. And I will certainly be looking for an oppurtunity to follow a couple of you REZ pro's around one day on the lake.
