    That must be a huge cooler. 24 fish and look at all the extra space.

    Looks like fun Scott. Dad and Frankie got on the water at 1 and fished til 5 and they ended up with 38. They found their fish on the ledges that met 14 foot of water.

    thats the way okatibbee fish are. For some reason they just can't put on weight. I'm not knocking you guys that fish it all the time, if i lived there i would fish it too. I remember fishing it once with MCC, there were about 45 boats and i caught the big fish of the tournament and it was only 1.54.

    The crappie are getting bigger at Okatibbee. Back in the 1980s we were catching lots of 2lb and better fish. Since then it's been on a decline. In the past year or so I've noticed more shad and more thickness on the crappie. We had several fish over 1 1/2 lbs yesterday.
