Gator, in that thread the discussion leader poo poos vertglass as a quick fix hair tonic. He says all of the "easy kits" are nothing more than polymers that will look good initially, but quickly fade again as they can not bond to the gel.

That's the thing KD. Some areas need the wet sand, some just a glaze and some just a wax buff. Think I'm gonna do the 1000 on the worst spot, 1500 on the lighter areas and the whole boat with 2000. Then glaze the entire thing and finish with pro-tec.

But again, all that is gonnabe dead last.

Man after my own heart--On mine the flake is pretty good (1500) and the solid grey on the bottom (1000, 1500, 2000) and dead last. I hate to say it but we may be twinsRofl
