    I think that's what bucket trucks are for... Just saying.... Bet OSHA would love to talk to his boss!!!

    I've seen trees taken down like this on TV. I think they did it the right way, and the way it is supposed to be done. I ran a pole saw and chain saw getting ready for deer season but I wouldn't want to climb the tree to cut it down.

    Must be to close to house to fall. Taking it down in ten foot sections. Work for tree service part time on weekends when in high school' but i stayed on ground. Some of them are nutts and will do it without a harness. They say it is easier to move around.

    Had one of those no harness wearers hit the ground from about 50 ft up the road from me about 2 years ago. Wernt pretty. Heloed himm to the med and he made it but was bad messed up.

    Humans don't usually survive a fall above 30 feet. That guy was lucky.

    Maj I think what saved him was falling through some branches that must haves owed him down some.
