I've seen trees taken down like this on TV. I think they did it the right way, and the way it is supposed to be done. I ran a pole saw and chain saw getting ready for deer season but I wouldn't want to climb the tree to cut it down.Quote:

Had one of those no harness wearers hit the ground from about 50 ft up the road from me about 2 years ago. Wernt pretty. Heloed himm to the med and he made it but was bad messed up.
Humans don't usually survive a fall above 30 feet. That guy was lucky.
Maj I think what saved him was falling through some branches that must haves owed him down some.
