We got em over here. The alligator gar has more of a flat bill vs the slim bill of a short nosed gar. They both suck.

No I dont think that I've ever caught a true alligator gar. Still, shock em as shoot em. Could probably make the state some money by selling guided carp shock hunts. I'd give em 50 if they let me drink beer and shoot em. Be really interesting to see what else floated up too
