From the pic, I tend to agree because of the cupping on the inside and the out. Either that or a loose leaf spring on that side making it run out of alignment. Them tires might be on upside down though. ;-)

Going through the same problem of an axle that is not strong enough. Got the boat at a place that is supposed to let me what the damage will be for them to replace the axle. Gotta get new tires also, yeah hah!!

Man, those went way to long!! You were ridin on a prayer.
Notice though, the wear LOOKS like undersized axle wear, wore off the rubber from the inside to the outside, but still smooth, not cupped like ESs.
Course, there ain't enough rubber left to cup on them ragged thangs, but the outside edge isn't cupped.

Maybe the air in the tires was old. See what they'll charge ya to just change the air in the tires.

Ya I have an F&F 1860 and this year is the first year it has been used ALOT. I'm in the process of getting a heavier axle and solving the problem of the tire wear. I got lucky it was noticed when it was an didn't cause major problems.

I think the cupping is a balance problem

ES, I had the same problem when mine was new.
I was running 35psi in my trailer tires, they started
Cupping, feathering & wearing the edges. I to though
I had a bent axle, but no, it was tire pressure. Turns
out I should run 50psi. It does make a big difference!!
    Problem solved!!!
Look on the inside of your trailer frame for a tire and
loading information plate and see what it recommended.
