That was just strike one but I do appreciate some of the Ideas ya had.

Here's my thinking on a 2 day tourney vs paying 3 spots and 1 day. A 2 day tourney is all fine but you have to take an extra day off work and then what happens when you only have say $1000? Do you split it down the middle and give each days 1st place half? That's $500 each and only the winners get any money. What if the same person wins both days? he gets it all.
What if 2 different people win, one each day? Who's the champ? Biggest weight? OK, what do you give that person for being THE winner? he gets nothing. I'd like to see it be a 1 day thing and the winner get 60% of the total money, 2nd place gets 25% and 3rd the final 15%. That way the money we all put into it for the year, more than one gets a share of it. My thoughts on the subject anyhow

Make it a 2 day ya gewber with the 60 25 15 split ya gewber. Two day total. Who werks on Friday anyhow. Close the lake all week and show up and fesh on Friday. Pffffft. It's as simple as that.

Not Friday I'm talking about Minner. It's taking of Thursday to prefish that gives several people work related problems. Some folks, me included only have a limited ammount of Vacation time so it's hard to dedicate ALL of it to Crappie tourneys. I want to use some of it for a regular vacation personally

Here's my schedule mr DD. If you can work around it, I'll try to fesh some more this year. If not, I understand.

That's why I said close the lake all week. That's what we did for all of our tourneys last year. No pre fishing past Wednesday and for our classic it was closed from Sunday night til Saturday. It evens the odds fir folks that can't come and pre fish.

Only problem I have with the not after wednesday is that some folks can take off or don;t work and can fish Monday, tuesday and wednesday of the tourney week and some can only get off Friday to prefish. Well, that or the Saturday and Sunday before but that gives those who can get on the lake mon-wen an unfair advantage

Phooey on closing the lakes. I don't get near the pre-fishing in as I'd like too, but I don't want to knock those out that can.
