If all the fish were weighed on the same scales,
Then it don't matter if there off or not

I have never relied on hand held scales until I bought a set of Cul-m-right scales.  These are the same scales the Bass Elite boys use.  They were $375.00 and have a life time battery and warranty.  The only set of big tournament scales that work great are the ones that run off of electricity.  I've never been a fan of battery scales.

I've got the Rapala touch screen scale, and I've found it to be pretty accurate. It keeps a cumulative total of your fish, and my total has been close to the weigh in total the two times I've used it. Think I gave $49 for it.

I didn't take DD questioning the scales as slander towards MCC, heck he's a member. I think he's claiming that they may be inaccurate in an unbias manner.

I also didn't think Sat stating that the head of MCC tried to weigh too many fish was slanderous either. Just stating the facts.

We've had a lot worse threads of bickering between actual members of each group that didn't get deleted.

Thanks ES. I wasnt trying to slander anyone. Id never do that scale settings each day could be different based on the way you set then up. The weigh in was fair each day but i know they were heavier friday

ES...... I only moderate when I get complaints.....when I recieve complaints I then look at the rules to see if there is a violation and go from there. After several complaints yesterday, I locked a thread. Someone then started a new thread to continue on where the locked one left off......things got out of hand.....MCC bashing etc.......members very close to making personal attacts etc. it got pretty heated.... so I did not delete the two threads.....but I moved them to a file to get them out of the way. Now then....if anybody has a beef about how I handled this please send Slab a PM about it like the rules say to do. I am trying to do the best I can here.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
