I'm sure my yankee brothers couldn't give a rats azz bout going to that memorial! They have had 10 years to deal with the memories of losing their brothers. Still, it's another fine example of how appreciated they really are. You risk your life for others all the while politicians are trying to cut your already meager salary and benefits from their budget!

i agree a buddy of mine at grenada fire dept has already been cut 12 hours a month in the last year..

State of Ms just bumped firefighters retirement from 25 to 30 years!

Agree with Feelay 100%. These politicians want the Firefighters and Police to do the most dangerous jobs and then snubs them. It's time for a complete change. I won't vote for a single incumbent next election.

I have been cut 4.62% last month and now messing with my pension.We are never noticed until its you or your family in an emergency, then its awww thank you for your quick response and help.These d$#% politicians can tear up a steel ball with a banana. Sorry bout my soap box just relieving some stress.Down right ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!
