I've never seen much use for the "N with a circle around it" setting. I always run with just the N showing.

Scott is exactly right......I even just for giggles and grins read the instruction manual and dadgummit, ol geezer Scott was right.

How dare you insult me like that Rofl I mean read the instructions, come on now you musta been kiddin Rofl I did look for it last night and I have put it somewhere for safe keepin to prevent it from gettin lost

Gabowman is right....the mode with the N with the circle around it is pretty much useless.....especially if there is any current or any wind. I am suprised that Wannabe didn't bring this up.

I like it actually. I like my baits to swing left and right quite a bit when in open water. I catch a lot of fish zigzagging and rarely troll in a straight line.

That works pulling cranks too, changes the speed of the baits, might give an indication of what speed they want.
