    Weld you a 1/4-20 nut to the pole over the existing hole with a wire welder. Or get somebody to. The tube ain't thick enuff to get but a couple of threads in it.

    That would work for sure but like they said above, you could take a drill and a pin and have it fixed in 30 seconds.

    Ifn ya gonna drill a hole, why not drill several up and down the inside pole so you can adjust it?
