Yep my sportbrella fits in pedestal base.
EZ, my pedestal bases are larger than standard. Forget the measurements exactly, but it's pushing 2". The bushings work beautifully, but that puts the umbrella directly in line with my pedestals which is a problem when spider rigging. The umbrella gets in the way of the rods when I'm lifting them up.
No worries fellas. An anonymous OTer has offered to help mill up a solution for me, but wishes to remain anonymous to protect his identity.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
The Sportbrella you are talking about fits in a 3/4in seat post? Is it high enough? How big are they in DIA. Oh yeah last Question and I will leave ya all alone Where do you get one? Thanks Wilbur

here ya go, wb..................
Pole is actually 1" in diameter but steps down to 3/4" for the last 3 or 4 inches. I'd guess it's approximately 6' tall. I can walk under it and I'm 5' 10". You can get them at Sam's for somewhere south of $40. Can't remember, but think I only gave like $40 for min and it's 6' wide.

The one I got at Sam's for 38 bucks is 8 ft. wide.....works good, my boat is 7 ft. wide. I do like Scott, put the umbrella at the front and turn the two seats up front facing the back of the boat.....pull cranks off the rod holders in the back of the boat that way when reeling in a fish the umbrella is not in the way.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
