    has anyone tried one of the "taylormade anchorshades"? been contemplating getting one for pulling cranks but kinda pricey.

    I looked at one but also read some bad reviews. It also has 5 contact points 4 of which could get in your way when landing a fish plus 6' x 6' is too small.

    Here you go WB. The bigger one is a standard 2" rod holder with a 2" pin in the middle to stop it from flopping around. The smaller one is custom made with a thumb screw to hold it tight for when I need to use the flaps on my Feelay umbrella to keep the sun off.
