That's right on Chotard/Albermarle, the river is hard to figger out. It's a chance to catch it right but when it's on, man it's a good lake to catch alot of sho nuff Pigs on. The MCC tourney on Chotard was a good one. We had 14 teams that caught over 10 pounds. Not bad at all
what about lakeview, i hear everyone talks about it, and i have never fished it.
I thought Lakeview was private?
I like Bigger's idea of having 12. One each and every month. Why not? Does it HAVE to obligate WB or DD or any of the commitee to be there? As long as we have the scales, lett'er rip!
Leave the championship qualification # at 3 lakes fished. Why obligate everyone to 2 more potentially expensive FJ's just to add another $10 to the championship pot? Oh, and then subtract the number of $10's of all the folks that wouldn't meet the 5 fished FJ ruling and it would probably all wash out anyway.
Screw the other clubs schedules. Why don't we get permits? Do we need a permit? Are the FJ's even considered "tournaments"?
Leave Bulta in it!
Draw the championship lake from a hat!
Did anybody mention that Sardis was rediculously hot in February?!?
I vote for Greers.Thumbs Up And WB I have a shop you can stat in.Rofl
I have a solution to this whole thing. Listen or read very clossly.
We have not set schedule.
We have not set number of tournaments.
We have no pre-determined camp.
We have no pre-determined number of tournaments to fish for the finals.
We send WB a pm by the Sunday afternoon before Monday with a fishing report on where you fished and what you did. If the fish are biting better at a particular lake than others, we go there the next week-end and have a FJ.
If the fish are really biting such as this past Sardis bite, we hold multiple tournaments until the fish stop biting. After all, the reason for the fj's is to catch fish and have fun doing it.
At one tournament per month, we have a "Camp" or a big cook-out.
As far as the "finals", put all of the lakes that have been mentioned in a hat and draw one out. Now put the 12 months in a hat and draw one out. That settles where and when the final will be. If the lake comes up Bee Lake in June, that's the finals and July starts the new year. No restrictions, no schedules, no nothing. Keep it simple!
Rick, OOPS, I mean Morris has spoken AHHH HAHAHAHAHA
