Listen ya Gewber. Imagine them red and black wires runnin to them two empty battery post. And it don't matter ifn the three batteries are sittin in yo boat or in yo livin room. Ifn they in yo livin room, you mite need 4 gauge, otherwise ifn they somewhere in yo boat, 6 gauge will werk. Ifn you done got the 4 gauge ran, by all means Gewber, don't pull it out.
As far as yo three wires, borrow a volt meter and put one lead on black and then check each red wire. Should be 36v on one of the red/black combinations.
You gonna fewl around and smoke it ya Gewber.

I say sell the Terrova and use the money to buy another class 31 battery. Go get a Maxium Pro foot control 24v and problem solved. You already have one new class 31. Then you want have to buy that third battery. I know Torch is looking for a Terrova!

Are you wiring direct to the TM or do you have a plug & receptacle? If it's a plug you need to ID which of the receptacle prongs are the right 2. This would only be on a 3 prong plug.

Slab, why don't you loan him $300 and he can buy my MK345D charger? You know he's good for it. Just be there with your hand out when he wins money. The boys at Performance Outboard said 6 or 8 was big enough. #4 is used to wire a house not a boat.

With all of the crap that everyone of us have, we need to pick a date and have a fishing equipment flee market. We could have it at Pelahatchie Bay Store and Lock so Paul Johnson would'nt have to rent a trailer to move his stuff.

That second red wire might have been put there to run the 12v electroncs on the front of the boat and the other for the 36v fot trolling motor. GET A VOLT METER < GEWBER!
