I watched the front move across the state most of the day and it semed like it was moving purty good. So I figured I would leave the house as the first band came thru and I would not have to wait very long to go feshin. Wrong. I got to the river bout 4ish and sat in the truck for almost an hour before I decided to go out. Finally got to the spot I went to yesterday and just like yesterday, they were there. Only today they quit hitting jigs after the first 30 minutes or so. So I went to the ol faithful. Minners. I first just threw out one rod and continued to throw a jig with the other. I caught on almost as soon as it hit the water. So I threw out another and continued to throw a jig. I seent real quick this was gonna werk, so I took my jig off and threw out the third rod with a minner under a cork. Ended up with 11 purty nice ones. Had a pleasant evening sitting in the rain feshin all by myself. By the way, this was the first chance I've got to use the Pro Qualifiers in the rain. They are the bomb. I was dry all over when I gotto the truck at 7:30.
