Well....it ain't like mixing a 31 will cause the 27s to explode or anything, but you're not going to get the full potential out of the 31s and when it's time to replace the 27s, your 31 will have the capacity of a 27 by then so your new 31 will be hindered by the old 31 and well...you see the cycle you're setting yourself up for. On top of that....how you gonna know when your 27 has hit the wall? The power of the 31 is going to mask it's poor performance.

Like I said....don't do it. Now...I might do it if it was all I could afford, but it's gonna give you heartburn and be more expensive in the long run.
