I bet someone around here would like to take them off your hands, then you could match up.. If you really look at it from the right angle, it's only a nit on a gnat..

Don.....they will still pull the 31 down because they are smaller. I learned this the hard way years ago working with big diesel trucks....they have three group 31's on most of them and if we mixed sizes or put a new battery in with a older one we always paid for it later so we got to where if one battery was weak or bad......we replaced all three with 31's. This proved to save us money in the long run. A group 27 is way to small a battery to be using anyway especially with as big a TM as you have. What your wanting to do will work for a little while.....it won't work good but it will for a little while and in the end your new 31 will be bad as well and then that money will be wasted.....If you can put three new 31's on now it will save you a lot of grief and money.

I got a BDay coming up in November, why don't you buy me 3, 31's? LOL I just don;t have 300 or 400 bucks to spend right now to be honest and no way of coming up with it for a couple months. I'll get one of the 31's now and IF I get any income tax back, I'll get 2 more then but for right now, I HAVE to get just 1

Your not paying attention DD....If you get one now......then later get two........you first 31 will be weakened from working with the small 27's and it will drag the two new ones down. They will only be as good as the weakest link. What you want to do will work for awhile but it will not give you the trolling time ( hrs. per day that you want) . Then in the end your first new 31 will not be good enough to mix with two new ones. The general rule for multiple battery systems is.....all the same size and type and all the same age.
