How many pull them with the big motor?? If so do you use a trolling plate like the one below? Maj, EZ and the rest of you got me thinking alot about trying this style of fishing.
I have read most of the Crankbait 101 thread but I still have questions.

Exactly what I got man and I can get my 125 Hp motor to run bout 1.5 MPH at Idle. I can thrown out either a bucket or 2 OR a Drift ANCHOR (not wind sock or drift sock, we were all wrong so NEHHH) to adjust my speed even more. AMEN BigBlue, I ruined my first one with it falling down as I was motoring

Get a terrova best thang you can buy for crappie fishing!!!!!!!!!!!!
If the fish aren't bitting just remember your not at work ! :D
Not sure about all that. I have 2 pieces of rope on mine. One is the release to drop it down and the other is attached to the end of the plate so I can just reach down and pull it up without leaning all over the motor. Works good but I get alot of questions about WHATS THAT HANGING DOWN lol Least it ain;t Duct tape hehe

I use my big motor but I use a spring loaded version called troll-o-matic. It works great and I can get my 90 down to just about any speed I need.
