Been meaning to ask you about your crankin' battery dying on ya. It shouldn't have and might be a sign of a weak battery. Even a Group 24 should be capable of running everything for 7 hours. Then again....did you ever get that timer put in your livewell? In any event, I'd have that cranker checked and at least put a set of jumper cable in the boat with ya.

I agree on slapping as large a batt in there as you can possibly shoe horn in the space. Even if ya gotta grease it up. That said...for what you're running...even a 24 ought to hold up for that long. Just make sure you got a good charge on that power pack...got a feeling you're gonna be using it before long.
