Default Ross Barnet Fruit Jar Results 02-19-11

I'm sure ya'll have heard, but just so we got a record thread:

    1st & Big Fish - CrappiHolic / Deb 13.14#, Big Fish 2.65#
    2nd - Charles Linsay / Blake Warrenier 11.27#, Big Fish 2.40#
    3rd - Tritonman 8.14#
    4th - Wannabe / Gonnabe 6.07#
    5th - Bernard Williams 3.66#

Special thanks to Maj for running the scales for us. And special thanks to all you guys that had more than 6.07#, but not enough to win or place, thereby helping me to build my self esteem. LOL. I know several of you had more than that, but didn't bother weighing in.........well....except for DD. Everybody knows that if he'd had 6.08#, he'd have been at the front of the line.

Had a big ole time down there and talk about a beautiful day to fish. However, I would appreciate it if ya'll would call ahead next year and close the river to through traffic for me. Got a little bumpy out there at times. :D

Enjoyed lunch too. "Who had the shrimp po-boy?" I think we made it a litte too easy on the waitress.

I know Bernard put his 3 good fish in my bucket, but not sure who else put some in there, but my skinny kids say thanks.

Also, it was good to meet some of the MCC boys - Hugh Krutz, Bernard Williams, Charles Lindsay, and Brad an Bo. I don't care what Don Don says, ya'll ain't half bad....maybe not much to look at, but still.

Props to OldBlue and David Spickar for making the haul for the beat down.

For the record, we had 10 boats fish, so it was a perfect payout with $245 for 1st, $105 for 2nd, $100 for big fish and $50 going to the championship.

    Wannabe...
    Wannabe...v2.0
A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
