    Is supposed to get out of the hospital today at 3 p.m. Did they get all the stones out yesterday? __________ NO! Used lithotripsy to break up stones but didn't get them all and placed 5 stents and she'll come back to the hospital in 6 weeks (if not before due to pain from the stones) to get the rest of the stones and stents removed!!!!!!!

    UGH...... She has to stay on clear liquids for at least two more days before she can try "real" food. Dr. says her high cholesterol is prolly making the stones (as her Gallbladder was removed in 2004) and she's not a candidate for cholesterol drugs because her liver enzymes are high. He called it the doublewhammy.

    I think this hospital has discovered that repeated ERCP's are a Medicare "cash cow". I'm thankful to get her out of there and I know she'll be thrilled! Thanks guys....

    Wannabe... if Minner keeps on bein' so nice we're gonna have to consider ........ nawwwwww I can't say it...... just can't....

    I can emphasize with you Kitten, I'm at the hospital right now waiting on more tests on my mom. Glad your mom is getting out, hospitals are dangerous places.
