Since I will be getting a new FF for the front of my boat, I want

to have it elevated off the floor. I think I saw a pic of Feelay's setup for the front FF and it looked like it was on a piece of Hitekstuff aluminum. can you guys give me any idea's or pointers, pictures of what you have or have seen ? How stable is this while you are running ? should the FF be took off when running ?

maj, what size is that ram ? I might could get by with that but really think I want a little more height.. my deck is not elevated in the front like that it is the level of where you have your rod holder mounted.

It's just a little lower than the rod holders (EZ specials) but it's easy for me to see. The Ram including the base is 12 inches.

Ram mount makes a 11" mount. I have one on the front of my boat. Works great.
