    Default Rain gear

Serious question, I'm fixin to pull the trigger on some new rain gear. Either BPS 100mph or BPS Pro Qualifier. Would the 100mph be worth the extra $ or is the Pro Qualifier just as good?

I jus bought the pro qualifier and I am happy with it. Course I just put em on and walk around the house in it. It's got plenty of pockets and the cuffs are very good around yo legs and arms. Zippers are good, hood is good. Got lots of velcrow to keep erriething shut that needs to be shut. Easy on and off. I would recommend the pro qualifiers. Now I ain't never had no 100 mph's. Didn't figure I'd ever be goin that fast.

Thanks Minner! I tried on both at BPS. Really couldn't tell much difference without setting off the sprinkler system!

Unless you're fishing in sub freezing temps / rain often and I mean often, I'd cheap out and go with the Pro Qualifiers. I think the only difference is going to be the thickness of material (slight) and the ruberized and sealed zippers on the 100mphs.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

I looked for years for a good rain suit the really worked. I finally found the best one so far. It is a Mossy Oak brand and called rain something. The whole suit cost about $150.00 and is wind proof also. It;s in my truck and when I get out there, I'll get the name. The 100 mph is to hot.

Ihave the 100mph and it is great but if I had to do it again I would go with Cabelas. The hood zips off the 100mph and sometimes the zipper cover will turn up and allow water to come in.Cabelas is sewn in jacket with no possible leak, and more pockets. Both priced about the same, and Cabelas comes with liner for cold weather LIKE NOW!!

if the lower price ones have gore tex, that's the really important part of the rain suit.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

I have heard a lot of folks say that they have had both and they like the Cabelas GuideWear the best.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
