Thread: Braid vs Mono

    The one thing i have against braid is that if i have a $60 pole iwant a line that will break before the pole will.In case you happen to hang a giant carp,cat or gar or hit snag trolling.Been using the mr. crappie 10lb in hi vis and havent had a problem. and have landed some good fish.

    I spooled my braid up and kept it but put my mono back on for now. I may use it again in the future.
