I tried the braided line and I'm going back to my mono. I like to secure my line on my poles by hooking the snap in the small loop above the handle and crank the line tight. I found out you need line with a little stretch to do that. The braid does have lots more sensitivity and strength but it's just not for me. For now, I'm putting 10# mono back on.
