That's like the worst dock I've ever seen. Ain't a one of them poles the same height and a fella could fall right through the middle of it.

Bet your wife gave you a good beating to messing up here yard and tracking mud around the house too.

Unfortunatly the backhoe can't reach the farthest 3 posts. I spent about 3 hours sledging the far back right on from the top of a 10' ladder. Screw that! Not sure how I'm going to finish getting it down and the other 2 ??????????????????????????

Default There is an option since the backhoe won't reach

It's called a wheel barrow and shovel. Guy at work did that when they drew down the lake at his subdivision. He filled sandbags with the dirt he got out of the bottom of the lake and extended his lot about 5 feet, then backfilled behind the sandbags.

Ya should have just invited DD over to supervise and engineer the thang for ya. Wouldn't have taken him long to figure out you could of just duct taped the sledge hammer to the bucket on the back hoe and whooped that sucker into the mud in no time flat.

Ifn I was you, and I'm glad I ain't fer obvious reasons, and I had your manual labor skills that you ain't got, I would just hire somebody that just Kinda knew what they were doin. You would prolly make yo wifey proud. I'm sure she would like to see a man doin mans work around yo house.

Too bad ya ain't got a couple of younguns. If you did, you could just tell 'em both to not, under any circumstance, get to fooling around on that dock and drive those two poles down level with the others. Or else.

Then ya'll could take off to the Wal-Marts and it'd be done in a jiffy.

Don't forget that I'm cheap and this is low budget engineering. I tried strapping a 6x6 post under the boom and gained the extra 4' that I needed. But it wasn't stout enough to push'em down.

Actually I do, but manual labor isn't on their resume yet
