Ever seen a metal fence driver? If ya got some welding skills and some steel handy, ya might could rig up a driver and lift it with your make shift boom and let gravity drive it assuming your bucket will drop quick enough. Will be a pain, but would work.

Go to a welding shop and ask them to take a 8" pipe 24 " long and weld some handles on the side. Then go find you a couple of messacans for 5.00 hr and let them drive them down. When they get them down, let them finish the deck. They can build anything.
