    The Sun-Sentinel The Oct. 31 planned closing of George Payne Cossar State Park is off. State Rep. Tommy Reynolds notified The Sun-Sentinel by telephone early Thursday afternoon that the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks, which operates Cossar, has written to the State Personnel Board asking, basically, for a reversal of their earlier request for a reduction in force at the park.
