    Default rules page 2

    These are only tentative

    16) In the case of a tie for a position a coin flip conducted by the tournament director will decide who qualifies for the next position and the looser of the coin flip will move down to the next position.

    17) Protests must be made in writing to the tournament director within 30 minutes following the end of the official weigh in. All protest must site rule number(s) broken.

    18) No one can be hired or compensated in any way to fish for you, or spot for you 30 days prior to the tournament.

    19) During tournament hours no one may spot fish for you or mark fishing spots for you.

Good job guys. Some may not agree with all of the rules but now atleast it is black and white. The only thing I missed is what are the qualifications for the Championship?

guys one of those Cube Ice chest with a 15.00 aerator will keep 7 fish alive. It is not hard to keep them alive except in July and August. I can show you how to rig it and not that expensive.

+1, by going to the next biggest fish you would actually earn the top spot and not let luck decide. We work hard during these tournaments and a coin flip shouldn't decide our reward.

    Great job so far Torch.

Maybe what we ought to do, is the first person to weigh in has his heaviest fished weighed. Him and his fish can't leave until his heaviest fish and or stringer is beaten. When the next person outweighs him, he remains until he's beaten etc. Kind of a hot seat deal.

We've always had the rule for heaviest fish to break a tie, but I've always worried about how folks scattered after their weight was recorded.

The hot seat will be harder to administer and we could get into a situation that if someone leaves the scales, we'd have to award the place to a potentially lighter catch, but we gotta do it one way or another.

I like the coin toss so we will not have to weigh fish again.
