It's always something. Had my boat at the shop all week while on vacation having some welding done on some cracks that occurred from the relentless pounding that only Sardis and Grenada can produce. Told them to go ahead and replace bearings and seals while they had it since as Wb put it " You're plain lazy", but I really hate foolin with grease. Called em up yesterday when they opened to see if I could pick it up today. The welder was just finishing up, and they hadn't even thought to do the bearing job. Was supposed to be ready by lunch today...yeah right! I get a call this morning, Seems something cut a groove on both spindals which isn't going to allow the seals to seal. Options: replace axle, trailor co. went out of bussiness, don't know if they can locate an axle. Or option 2, grind the weld on the spindle, weld on two new ones, and hope they get them straight! Aaaarrrghh!!! Going with option 2, hope it works out.
