    G, the interlink hooks the two ff's together so if I mark a waypoint with the 788 up front it sends that info to the 998 at the console and vice versa. They can share other info too.

    Which one did yu get? I'm going to put my 596ci up front on this new boat and going witha 997 or 1197 on console and I want an interlink for them. Also where did you mount it

    Nothing fancy just a color gps unit. I've been pleased with it though.

    Why do you keep leaving out the 998? It has new stuff that the 997 doesn't and can't be upgraded to, ie. video out, faster processors etc. Don't skimp on your new boat, even if you have to wait a little longer. My .02. Good luck and I wish I was getting a new boat.

    BTW, when you get ready for the interlink, give me a shout, maybe I can grease the skids for you a little.

    Actually haven't seen the 998, I just assumed you guys were talking bout the 997. I'm computerless these days, doing everything via my iPhone. Thanks for the offer I will prob
    be giving you a shout when it comes time. I like to do things myself but I have thought about havingeverything rigged and ready by the dealer, I'm just to cheap for all that lol.
