    Default Need help finding.....


    a "boat seat holder". Yeah I'm not sure what it's called. It's the thing that the seat mounts to that allows it to attach to the seat rails in my boat.

    What it looks like is a flat piece of aluminum with one end that is curved. I stand it up to put it in the slot on my rail, and then I can slide to the left or right with my seat. I need to find one, but I don't know what to call it or where to look for it. I tried Cabela's but they didn't have what I was looking for.

    Anybody know what the name of this thing is and/or where I might go about locating one?

    Most marine dealers will have what you need. I have two that I am not using if you want them .

    Tri-State marine in Batesville has at least 2 on their shelf as of yesterday. Either that or Tracy at Performance has 'em I'm sure. Or, I could check my shop and give you mine. I'm pretty sure I have one, but it might be the part that mounts to the boat. Can't remember. I ordered a set and used 1 part or the other. I'll try and check tonight when I get home.

    Dang it. I was just over there yesterday getting me some new trailer tires. I should've thought to check, but I can't remember everything all the time.

    I'll be happy to take one for free though...from you or Sat....or I'll be willing to pay a nominal fee if handouts are frowned upon. Really only need one. I have two now, and I'd like to have one more for when Mo wants to join mommy and daddy on the water. Don't happen much but it might happen more often if she had her own honest-to-God seat to sit in.

    Personally, I'm a proponent of hand outs. Anything free can't be bad. Unless Obama is trying to give it to you. But I digress.
