I gotta tell ya. One of the things I'm really looking forward to going back to glass is battery room in the compartments. I had to engineer and construct a shelf to hold on TM battery and move the Cranking battery to the side just so I could shoe horn a dinky Group 24 and two baby 27s in the tin boat. I was never happy with it even though it had all the power I ever needed.
On this one, I'm going Group 29 Cranking and 2 Group 31s in this one dangit!

Oh Snap! Guess I should have looked before I got the batteries huh.
That's 2 group 27s and a 24 cranker. Took me an hour to get the Group 27 Cranker in place. This ain't gonnabe purty.
BTW, don't never never never ever ever ever let my brother wire your boat. That charger must have 20' leads x 3 and they were just left in a big honkin' birds nest resting on top of the batteries. Not only that, but every cable end looks like it was installed with a pair of vice grips and a phillips head screw drive. Simply attrocious!
Well, we'll be having none of that on MY boat!

looks like another project...i just added the on board 3 bank to my father inlaws boat for him. I got tired of going in his boat and having a dead battery in 15 mph winds
That wiring looks more like "the projects" to me. My brother graduated from the ghetto wiring school apparently.

Looks like he had good insurance on the boat and was hopin to burn it with that fire hazard on the oil tank and the gas tank as an igniter. A full oil tank ought to be enuff to burn her down.
At least you'll be able to get to where you aren't gonna catch them a lot faster now!:D
