    I love single poling... In fact, I have a holder that will hold 8 single poles at once. You should try it sometime OleMiss...:D

    Real funny Slimey! I do believe it looks like to much work to manage all those rods....I think I pass and keep it simple....works for me.....8 ...dang thats like torture... what happens if you get a catfish or something and it runs across all the other lines and then you got the Grand daddy of all tangles....no thank you....Im one pole man....as sung to the tune of One Woman Man by George Jones!

    LOL you guy tickle me talking about each other.....I personally am good enough to do both troll and jig fish.....occasionally at the same time too. Plus with the trolling side, I get to catch em year round...

    Lake rapers...LOL have not heard that one brought out in a while!

    Your exactly right....thats what I do too. Fishing is way too much fun to only use one method.

    I do plenty of single-poling(in each hand) in the July-August timeframe and I actually catch more crappie during that time of year than I do in the March-April timeframe. But it isn't on big water reservoirs. It's on the river oxbows and it usually occurs in less than 6 fow.
