man, you Miss. guys are tough on your fellow fisherman..since i grew up were its basically impossible to spider rig, i have always used a single pole..but i do think its a matter of preference..some folks like seeing the cork go under, some like the thump of the tight line, and others get the thrill of having multiple poles..landing 3 or 4 fish at a time..i have recently adapted to the deeper lakes in north La...using multiple poles..regardless if its one or ten its still all about the thrill of the bite and catching those big ole slabs,,i could fish a tournament either way and still have fun doing it..

This is the first year I have trolled- I fought it for years. That old grouchy fella I work with would outfish me 4 to 1, so something had to give. I still prefer getting up in the bushes with them with a single pole tho.

We can seine the lakes empty... Not that's crappie fishing!!!

I like to fish both ways Trolling and single pole I actualy do more single pole fishing than anything, I even pour and tye my own jigs. But tell me what the difference is if you catch a limit of fish trolling or single pole it is still a LIMIT !!

We should be more concerned with the folks that are breaking the laws and removing more fish from the lakes than what is legal.

Default I wish it were that easy to just

stick a bunch of poles out and catch a limit. As I'm learning, I've found it ain't that easy to just stick them out and catch a bunch. You're in open water so you have to have the right color and style jig, with or without minners, minners only, with or without scents, Right speed, depth, ALOT of things have to come into play to wear them out.

I just wanted to bob a few corks here. I actually have not problem with trolling...

But I do have a problem with all the folks that I see keeping these undersize fish that I keep returning to the water.

right dd, but you forgot the most important thing...FINDING the fish, in literally thousands of acres of water....that to me is the hardest.
