WB after the initial thought of how I was going to clean me britches out I calmly reached down and turned the key off. My kill switch gets tested on a regular basis with two kids helping pilot the ship, but that is a good idea fer some of yall known gewbers who aint got the luxury that me and WB do, of having a couple of co-pilots that are under the wing of masterful, overflowing with knowledge, fish catchin captians. (Did I leave anything out WB? You're better at this HS than I am, but I'm learning) Anyhow back to the subject, check your kill switches.

There was a moment of skeered slipped thru my drawers. After some attempts at WB riggin and on the water mechanicing, I decided there was no fixin this issue on the water. I looked at it several times with a spool of line in my hand & then decided to leave well enough alone. Did manage to get her to idle. Saw alot of water with SI that I hadn't planned on seein cause she idled at 3.1 mph. Made fer a long run to catch a few fishes and get back before dark. Got me a new cable in yesterday $30.25 and put her in. Went in too well. Gotta get it on the water now and make sure it's right.

WANNABE riggin- the act of doing what you can, when you can with very limited resources and implemeting the use of anything a feller can get his hands on, regardless of what it looks like or what people says about you, just to gets your boat back in some kind of working order.

Had it happen last year myself, I just turned the key off to stop it. I couldn't get it to idle though, so I had to crank it wide open and throw it in gear a couple of times in the process of getting back to the ramp, trailering was fun that day too. When I got home, all I needed was a plastic cable tie to fix the plastic linkage that had cracked and slipped off, it has worked perfectly since then.
It's all over but the fryin'......

Modified version of WB Rigging. When you're at home and still resort to the wire ties or duct tape instead of getting the proper replacement part. The official term fer this is "WB/Tight Wad/Cheapscape/Too Lazy To Go To The Store Rigging". It works too.:D
