They look nice, even in the back ground. I had a non-working national and a guy came along and wanted it because it was in an old add with a Johnson transmitter. He wanted to duplicate the add pic and already had the transmitter. I still have a HQ129X....somewhere.

Sorry to jack the thread. Nice rod holders also.

Yep....I think those rod holders are the cats meow! They are really sturdy and well made. Scott does a good job buiding those.

You're about set up with everything a guy would need. New Hiteks and some oooooooold electronics. I used the 129x when I was younger. It would drift more that a crappie fisherman with a motor failure

    Again, nice stuff.

Are they pre-war or post war? Hallicrafters played a large part in National Defense during WWII. It's a shame they were pushed out by Japanese competition after the war.

Nice looking set up. Im still toyign around the idea of cutting 2 more holes in my G3. I got the tite lock brace and it works great, but with it up there I cant get to my storage box and thats kind of a pain. Post some pics of it when you can please as I would like to see it. I got the same boat except mine is a 2002 model. Im jsut worried there want be enough braceing for them, thats my reason for holding off

Well...It worked on Wannabes G3 boat and it worked on mine. The local G3 boat dealer also does that all the time. So I kinda think is strong enough.
