Carb screws take much big heapum medicine man to adjust properly and incense and peace pipes are usually involved.

I would suggest a trolling plate on your big motor rather than try ing to pull a drift sock. The boat can be hard to control with the sock dragging behind and most socks dont float when the rope breaks or comes loose. For confirmation on this drop Tlow a line and he can fill you in.

Good point Slabo, a float harness helps if a sock comes loose.

    Default Don't spect those

socks are cheap either. I'll stick with my buckets over all of them. I had the plate on my other boat and lost 4 or 5 MPH top end and some out of the hole torque

You could do like I did and put a kicker motor on there it works great for cranks and don't use near as much gas

Mine is a 15 hp two stroke and I use it because it is what I had and it works well. There are a couple of 4 stroke yammies on Craigs list right now that would be sweet for kicker motors.
