What does that mean with reference to "dragging crank baits"?

Thanks Mr Jim. Are they regular buckets of something made for just that purpose?

probably regular buckets, ain't never seen no official crappie draggin buckets
Some people drag two 5 gallon buckets close behind the boat to control their speed. We use to do it when trolling with big cane poles and 8 oz weights. I had a 55 gallon drum cut in half. That worked pretty well for me. Don't do it anymore, just slow troll and pull crankbaits off pontoon during the hot months.
Regular ole 5 gallon buckets. Nothing special.

I use one that I tie off to the center of my pontoon for pulling cranks.
