The Grand Scheme

Well I have been trying to sort some thoughts out and that I find myself to be very limited in processing and disecting of those ideas.

Forgive my ramblings here,I'm having a hard time putting things together.
And I'm full aware knowing that some will not like what I'm trying to understand and some just won't care...

In the last week or so I was talking to a C.C person and we were talking about the election. We always let the other speak their peace. Neither of us could honestly come up with a reason for one to back Obama other than, change is needed. And for that matter we could not really come up with a reason to vote for McCain. I thought the media puppeteered the fiasco. THEN, the thought come to mind.....

where is God in all of this. So , I asked him. He says he never thought about it from that point of view. I was raised in church and am saved. I went to church until after 9/11,haven't been in church much afterwards...some of you know what happens to men who leave the church.That being said, I always try to look at things from Gods point of view. I DO NOT pretend to know God's heart or thoughts. I do know he allows things to happen and he also intervenes often. Miracles happen every day.

I think God is readying to remove the hedge from this nation. He has to set up a man to rid us of the ability to protect ourselves. He has to get rid of the big stuff, by that I mean the nukes; I really don't see that happening.
Also, I honestly believe the major reason this country is still afloat is because of it's christian outreach. No other nation in the world does more outreach than us. In my opinion, we are still somewhat a christian nation. Now my believing that I'm a Bible literalist, I have to be because I'm not smart enough to interprete scripture. Then this morning I read this...

Romans 13:1 Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities , for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

Read the whole chapter actually.

That even means Bush,Obama,Hitler, Stalin, and Clinton. He used them in,whatever his way was.

I have always heared as a child wars are started due to religion and economy woes. Apparently right now economist say the world is in a mess. Last month if I heard global economy once I heard it a thousand times. Are we fast tracking to one world money,religion? I think some of our politicians are trying to set themselves up to be global leaders. They just don't care for this country anymore.....I sitting here wondering how much text I have left....:D I better stop before Shoer calls me Moose1am...:D

I'm not a very religeous person but I have been thinking about this very same thing for the last few weeks. The one world government is a real thing that is coming and we all know it. Really it's just a matter of when it's coming. I'd like to hope for my children's sake that it's not soon but things do seem to be changing. Lot's of talk of the "world economy" lately on fox news and lot's of finger pointing from other nations. Maybe the current financial crisis and the world wide ramifications could be the reason they need to jam this sort of thing down the public's throat. Fear is the best motivator for action and I'd say fear is about at a feavor pitch right now from the top to the bottom socially. Fear is what got the public approval for the invasion of Iraq, whether real or perceived it was fear none the less. Interesting topic.

I've been stuck on the last chapter of Revelation, I haven't been able to sit and finish because the frame of mind I've been in after reading the New Testament up into Revelation has changed with the times and into the election. I won't voice public opinion on this but I feel the parallels are worth keeping in mind as I read and watch the news around the globe.

I wont even pretend to know how god thinks. How could I understand what has not been revealed to me. That being said and reading the scripture which I have read the whole book I think I can give my opinion of what little I understand. Jesus died for my sins and asked little in return of me. He led by example and wants me to lead as he did. I dont always do that in my actions and struggle every day of my life. I live on faith because I have not seen and my faith says he is in control of all things. If I have a loving relationship with him then all this other stuff wont matter. Its being thrown around obama may be the antichrist. I think thats a bunch of hogwash imo. I dont like obamas politics but hey I didnt like clinton or carters either. Do I think god uses presidents to fulfill scripture, absoulety. Im sure someone wont agree with what I said and that ok with me. All I know to be the absolute truth is god is in control and we can only speculate what will happen.

I agree with you Slipped Cork. God had given those who have tried to understand him the ability through faith in him to live and let live. I through faith been able to cast off the feelings of guilt associated with not always doing the right thing or behaving as I feel God wants me to knowing that he gave His Son for all those sins that he knew we would commit. He tells us we are weak in the flesh. He knew we needed forgivness before we even needed it. And we have to embrace this part of his plan for us before we can even begin to have an understanding of what he has planned for us. I really dont know what God has planned for the world and how it will unfold and I dont htink anyone on this earth does. Only he knows. I believe he states that somewhere. I know in my heart though that God does have a grand plan that he is guiding and I know it through faith. It isnt something that you know like 2+2=4 but rather something you feel inside and know to be true but not something you can touch or see. To me it is a very personal thing and I think it is with most folks. I think God has a plan for me and if I have faith and wait for it that plan will unfold and be revealed to me piece by piece. I dont pretend to know what it is as God has shown me the way many time that I never would have been able to forsee and has done it in way I never would have thought but it just happened as he planned it. Ane after the fact you sit and think about what has happened to you see that it was the right thing and happened the right way. This type walking in faith becoms a stronge faith as you realize more and more that God is real. You are able to let a lot of worries fall to the wayside through faith as you come to know that you have no way of handeling all the complex issues of this world but that God is able to and is on the job. And I do believe he is on the job and that he will use those who have faith in him as his instruments to accomplish whatever his plan is. We know that we are part of his plan through our faith and that is really all we need to know about it. Through faith we know that God will take care of it in his way. Who knows. Obama may have a role to play or maybe not. We dont really know if he is part of Gods Grand plan but he could be. If he is then so be it. I certainly will pary for God to guide him and help him do the righ thing for the country and the world. I didnt vote for him but I think he has potential to be a great leader. I think he is right about needing change. We do! I hope he really means that. He sure has a full plate though doesnt he? God bless.
