Does anyone know of any on line websites where you can apply for college scholarships? I do not qualify for financial aid and would like to find some scholarships that I could apply for. Maybe some that you can do essays for or anything like that.

I think most scholarships are dependent on the school. Pick two or three schools and see what scholarships are available.

I wouldn't get my hopes up too high, though. My guess is that the competition for scholarships is fierce.

Google is your friend. There are many scholarships out there that go unclaimed. Yes there are essay scholarships, survey scholarships, volunteer scholarships, church scholarships. Just have to search for them. Some keep rolling every year until awarded, most are not awarded because no one applies. here is a sampling

To be specific, it depends upon your course of study. Petroleum Engineering for example has the local and national SPE, AADE, API, etc. I have had several students that were granted scholarships.
