I think I can relate. I worked a night shift job for over 30yrs straight, of the 45yrs I was in that job. Basically working from 10PM - 730AM for 4days on, 4days off, then 3days on, 3days off. I found it to be in my best (mental health) interest to keep the same, or similar, hours on those days off .. whenever possible.
Fast forward to last year, when I retired in April ... and I've been struggling since then to maintain any kind of "normal" sleep/wake pattern (normal being asleep for 8hrs during the night hours). I don't have to "be" anywhere or "do" anything on a rigid schedule anymore, and that lends itself to making it even harder to keep a specific schedule without having to plan well ahead to be waking at a specific time.
But, believe me ... I'd much rather have this problem and be retired, than not have it and be working
As for the boat re-build help, I'd suggest looking here : http://www.crappie.com/crappie/boat-rigging/

Sorry to say the stupidity continues. Saturday saw only 15 letters for delivery for one of the little towns I deliver to-15! I knew that today would be terrible again, and I was right-just had a call that the mail would be 2 hours late again. This may just make me sorry I didn't declare Nov. 30 my retirement date. I have about a month of sick leave I could take, but that is not me-the gov't is going broke the way it is, and I don't want to contribute to that; however, if I am sick you better believe I will use it. I haven't done that in the past-used a lot of sick days getting my wife to her doctor in St Louis and quite a bit when I had rotator cuff surgery but worked many days when I was feeling puny, too. Hope this will be the last I feel like posting about this.
