No right wing fire and brimstone papers here. Everything is gleaned on line
not here. paper is to liberal
Brenda and I read 3. Need to make sure we ain't in the obits.
I get it daily. I got a call from them one day and they asked how the could improve the paper. I told them to always tell the truth and they didn't want to talk to me any more. This really happened.
I get the local paper (Herald-Leader) on Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon ... pay a yearly fee. It used to pay for itself with the coupons, when the stores would double those at 50cents or less ... but, since they only cash them at face value, now, that's not the case.
I mostly read the sports, local news, funnies, and some store ads. The paper is Liberal leaning in most of it's content, and by most of its journalists ... but, does contain a small contingent of conservative views, to balance.
I think when my subscription runs out, I won't renew ... TV & Internet News sources, of my choosing, will give me all I care to read about or see, as far as real "news".
... cp :kewl
Get it and read it 7 days a week.....funnies, obits, garage sales, Dear Abby.....plus, old newspaper is great for spreading out just fried fish....
also read the political page just to find out what the other side is doing.....
Our town only publishes once a week and you usually hear everything before it makes it print. :) We used to take the Jackson paper, but it's hard to read when it's either torn up from driveway road rash or soaking wet, plus, they always seemed to "forget" to put the coupons in the Sunday edition. Waste of money since I don't have a bird and I can afford toilet paper.
Yep. We still get the Sun. It is paper thin. ha....... We have a paper box/bin next to the mail box. The delivery folks must believe it is a bird house. They prefer the toss to the yard.
