I remember my first dog/puppy, not the breed as I was only 4 or 5. It got pneumonia, and died soon thereafter. First dog I do remember was a full bloodedbeagle, named Snoopy, and gave birth to pups under a big pine tree at the corner of our driveway. Someone stole her a few months later since she had a come from a man known for breeding good rabbit dogs. On my 2nd boxer now, a great family dog, very protective of the family, and is my shadow the majority of the time.
